About the Office
The Law Office of Emily Gomez, LLC was founded in March 2012, and is a small consumer law firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We specialize in helping people in Western Pennsylvania who are struggling with debt problems and debt-related issues.
About the People
The firm was founded by Ms. Gomez after spending several years in a large law firm litigating on behalf of corporate clients. Her interest in consumer debt issues began when several family members and friends fell on hard times. This inevitably led to difficulties for her loved ones in paying bills. So Ms Gomez got to see the harassment tactics some collectors resort to first hand. Shocked, Ms. Gomez stepped in to help and in so doing found a passion for consumer protection law.
A native of central Maryland, Ms. Gomez graduated from The George Washington University Law School in 2007 with a Juris Doctor in law, and from Dartmouth College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
